Through doing this assessment and becoming more familier with the internet and joys of imersing myself in the hidden (well to me at least) goodies of the internet, I have discovered that Blogging on Blogger, posting photos on Flickr and organising digital bookmarks on Delicious is some what fun and exiting. Considering I have no internet at home, I found this assessment difficult at times. But despite that I pushed on through, laid back and began to enjoy the expiriance of the World Wide Web!
Blogger I think is the perfect tool for when people have an expiriance they want to share with the world. For exaple, when you go traveling or conduct an experiment and want the whole world to know, like in the movie "Julie and Julia" where she every day, over a period of time, Julie cooked her way through a famous cook book by Julia Childs and blogged about the expiriance everyday! But I feel like I don't have anything to contribute to my blog but pointless dribble about myself. Although I did enjoy seeing other people's blogs and let them know by making comments. These people where Delwin and Sean
Flickr is awesome! I really like flickr... Then again, I like most things with pretty pictures and amusing add on cool things. Like how you have a map in the top right hand coner where you can pin point where your photo was taken! Love it! This website couples really well with blogger in the way that you can have a "sample" photo on blogger with a link to a stack on flickr with all of your photos inside!!
I tried to post a variety of photos on flickr, ranging from my drawn art, to my digital art, to photos, videos and then other people's art that I admire. I picked out a few favoites and comented on a few photos but over all, I like this website and recomend it to people :D
Delicious, I found, came in handy more than what I originaly expected. The clever use of stacks and the whole idea of this "Bookmarking" made browsing the internet a breeze for me! I ceated two stack, an MPI104 stack and a Personal stack. I have to say, the taging system in Delicious was my favorite. Quick, easy, unforgetting tag system and I loved it :D
My first thoughts on this website where not positve. I thought is was going to be pointless and annoying, I'm glad I was wrong :)
Over all, I have enjoyed my first MPI104 assessment and will continue to use these sights to upload my life!
Thalia out :)

Movie Review - How To Train Your Dragon
This Dreamworks, Animated feature film has got to be one of my favorite 3D animated movies! The humor, the Vikings, the dragons, the animation, the Vikings, the dr- oh Thor almightly there is just TOO many things awesome about this movie!!
Frist of all, I'd like to start off by saying that the way Hiccup is animated, coupled with the voice acting of Jay Baruchel creates the perfect balence of awkwardness and humor that make me love this character. My favorite part has got to be when he's impersonation his farther saying "Excuse me, barmaid! I belive you've bought me the wrong off spring! I ordered a beefy boy with extra guts and glory on the side! This? This is a talking FISHBONE!".......HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHahahah!!!!!! I love it :D
Continuing on from characters, the dragon Toothless was AMAZING! The lead animator on this panther like dragon actully modeled the dragons movments form his cat! When I was watching the bonus features for this movie and heard this, I was like "I KNEW IT!!!" :D
During this movie, Dreamworks Animations try out a new effect with cloud textures for their flight sequences... did you notice? Well I certainly noticed how nice and light and fluffy those clouds were! I felt like diving into the movie and swiming in those clouds!!
Based on this movie's look, story line and characters... I give this movie a BIG thumbs up and a 10/10 rating with a 'MUST SEE' lable stamped on it :D
Happy movie watching!!

A Favorite Past Time - Art
Me? Well I love art. I love to draw and I have been drawing for many, MANY years. Blob men that share some similarities with miss shapen vegitables, have evolved into detailed sketches that raidiate pride from their maker.
When I draw, I usually draw from inspiration. Most of my works have some sort of influence on the movie that I've just been watching, or a peice of art that I've grown particually fond of, or any number of things to be honest :)
A couple of years ago I started up a deviantART account where I put a few of my works up for people to see. Unfortunatly I haven't been persistant with my uploads, but I feel like I want to get back into it, upload some of my latest and coolest stuff!!
Here are some pictures from my deviantART account :D

Animating The Inanimate - A Walk Cycle's Adventure
Alrightly everybody, so.... In my Amimation and Visual Effects course at uni, my first assessment is a walk cycle. 10 seconds of pure hand drawn, animated goodness with a side of HD and footstep sounds! Naturally I started off REALLY exited about makeing my little guy bob up and down, taking his first steps.... I was such a proud "mother".
But the stress became stronger and the time in which I had to handed it in became shorter and soon I was onto my second version of the walk cycle...
I sat at the kitchen table and fought loong and hard for this basic sketch... Along with 13 of it's bretheren. All of them together make a some what smooth cycle, but alas, it was far from finished. I soon found an enemy in the animating of the arms. Their annoying subtleness and pain-in-the-butt-to-draw-ness... *sigh*
A CHARACTER IS WHAT I NEED!!!!
Toilet Door Man ACTIVATE!!!!
...
...
...
Or so I thought...
Now I have a man with no arms and no neck walking along, waiting to be completed...
TO BE CONTINUED o.O
